TECHNOLOGY

Water Isn't One-Size-Fits-All.

No two water sources are alike. Minerals shift. Flow rates change. Site conditions vary. That's where q.wave starts — by sensing the water in front of it.

Sense first. Then respond.

q.wave continuously senses the electrical characteristics of flowing water. Its intelligent controller uses that information to adjust the conditioning signal in real time.

As the water changes, q.wave changes with it. That is the idea behind the Intelligent Water Conditioning Platform.

How It Works

Four Steps. One Continuous Process.

q.wave senses the water, adjusts the signal, and continuously conditions the water as it flows.

01

Real-Time Sensing

It starts by sensing the water.

Sensors continuously monitor the electrical characteristics of the flowing water and the system's operating conditions. That information is sent to the Controller in real time.

Water is always changing.
q.wave keeps sensing.

02

Adaptive Signal Generation

The signal changes with the water.

The Controller's MCU uses q.wave's control algorithm to process the sensing data and generate a signal that changes over time. Instead of simply repeating the same fixed signal, q.wave is designed to adjust the signal as water conditions change.

As the water changes,
q.wave changes with it.

03

Treatment Zone

This is where the signal meets the water.

The controlled signal is delivered through the Coil to the Treatment Zone. Here, the Coil and Customized Treatment Cartridge work together to create the conditioning environment as water continuously flows through the system.

Signal + Coil + Cartridge
= Treatment Zone

04

Customized Treatment Cartridge

Because every water source is different.

Water contains different levels and combinations of naturally occurring minerals such as calcium, magnesium, and silicates. Those conditions vary by source, location, and application.

The q.wave Treatment Cartridge uses selected mineral media to increase the effective contact area within the Treatment Zone and support the interaction between the flowing water and the controlled signal. The cartridge configuration can be adapted to the water source, crop, application, and site conditions.

The goal is simple:
Better water movement. Better water use. Better performance for the application.

IN OUT

Customized Treatment Cartridge — mineral media and Coil working together inside the Treatment Zone.

Sense → Adjust → Condition → Flow

One continuous process, working as the water moves.

Applications

One Platform. Different Ways to Put Water to Work.

The same q.wave technology can support very different applications. What changes is how water is being used — and what the system needs from it.

Greenhouse irrigation system
Agriculture

Better water for healthier growing.

In agriculture, water does more than irrigate. It carries nutrients through the soil and root zone and supports the plant throughout its growing cycle.

q.wave works to improve how efficiently water moves and is used within the growing environment, supporting healthier and more consistent crop development.

  • More uniform growth
  • Better water and nutrient use
  • Healthier growing conditions
  • Support for consistent crop quality
Industrial cooling tower and boiler system
Cooling Towers & Boiler Systems

Cleaner surfaces. Better heat transfer.

Cooling and boiler systems depend on water to move heat efficiently. Scale and biofilm can build up on pipes and heat-transfer surfaces, creating a barrier that makes the system work harder.

q.wave conditions the circulating water to help create an environment where mineral scale is less likely to build up on pipe surfaces. Scale-reduction performance is currently being evaluated with the University of Central Florida under paired treated/untreated conditions.

  • Better heat transfer
  • Cooling & heating efficiency
  • Energy optimization
  • Reduced maintenance needs
Concrete

Better water movement for more uniform hydration.

Water plays a critical role in the hydration and curing of concrete.

q.wave-conditioned water is intended to support more uniform water movement throughout the mix, helping create conditions for more consistent hydration.

  • More uniform hydration
  • More consistent curing
  • Improved water distribution
  • Support for long-term concrete quality

Different applications. Different challenges.
